Head teacher’s comment: The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and learnt a lot in a very short time. Lots of pupils and parents came up to me with positive comments, too! Roger Bumby

Dorin Park School Carol Service 2004

Like: It was great fun for all – some on the autistic spectrum who almost never seem to ‘enjoy’ anything were playing and smiling broadly! Your “stop!” signals worked even for sld (serious learning difficulties) children
Improve: More of my staff could be involved!
Learn: How the atmosphere in an unknown, formal-looking church could be lifted to an exciting fun, singing, drumming party atmosphere. It certainly helped the pupils see church for once as a place NOT just for funerals. (We have another pupil’s funeral this afternoon)
Anything else to say to us? Thank you, thank you!
