Improve? Move to quieter space (we were too near sound stage –too noisy for us; and didgeridoo – too noisy for him)

Hipswell Primary, Catterick Garrison
Like? It was very hands-on. Children were introduced to new instruments
Improve? More beats and rhythms to copy like the clapping ones at the beginning of the session, but using the instruments provided. Add more challenge for the older children.
Learned? Looking at the unusual instruments from around the world.
What else happened?

Like? Good control. Children achieve all the time. Lovely range of instruments.
Improve? In our circumstance, we wanted more ‘African’ element.
Learned? The range of instruments. Different approach to familiar concepts.
What else happened? We got more mice! Shelves delivered! Chaos! [School had had a rodent problem, and was being refitted with furniture from another school.]
