Bowley Scout Camp, Blackburn

Like? It was a perfect ice-breaker. To get 40 teenagers who barely knew each other interacting in the way they did set off our weekend perfectly.
Improve? N/A
Learned: That the Ribble Valley looks even better when set to the rhythm of Daftasadrum and 40 Explorer Scouts.
Other? Steve, thank you for your enthusiasm and passion. It set the tone on what was the first of many weekends we will share.

Like? Fun, active session allowing people to engage as much as they wished
Improve? -
Learned: Seeing students, who usually find active participation in creative activities difficult, gaining confidence throughout the session. Using ‘soft’ percussion to start and ending by ‘beating’ the drum as if he had never had any reservations!
